NEWS: IEE now the IET

The Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) is now the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), which is made up of both the IEE and the Insititution of Incorporated Engineers (IIE). The IET was officially launched on March 31st 2006.

The IET will continue to produce the Inspec databse, which is available to the School via the University subscription to EngineeringVillage2.

All IEE journals are now published by the IET, the full-text of which will continue to be available via the University subscription to IEEEXplore.

Please note the following change:

Engineering and Technology - is the IET's new monthly magazine, which from April 2006 replaces IEE Review and the IIE's Engineering Technology.
