Richard Simms from the Institutiion of Engineering and Technology (formerly the IEE) will be giving a talk on the Inspec database. The talk will cover recent developments and will last approximately 1 hour.
The Inspec database, produced by the IET, is the most comprehensive literature database in the fields of physics, electrical engineering, electronics, and computer science. This year Inspec has added its 8 millionth record and has added a further one million full-text links (DOIs) in a new XML backfile. Access to the service is available to members of the University at http://www.engineeringvillage2.org/.
